Requirements
Senior Test Executive Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is usually required. Some employers may prefer candidates with a master’s degree or relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance.
Significant experience in software testing and quality assurance, typically 8-10+ years.
Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a testing team or QA department.
Experience in defining test strategies, creating test plans, and executing test cases.
Familiarity with various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and their application in software development projects.
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Strong understanding of software testing principles, techniques, and tools.
Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
Experience in implementing and improving QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Knowledge of defect tracking and management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
